Help us shape the future of the MMHA - join our Board of Directors
With
a number of open roles to be filled at this year's Annual General Meeting on
May 30, members are invited to consider joining the Board of Directors to help
us shape the present and future of the Milton Minor Hockey Association.
Interested candidates require a nomination from a member of the association, and that nomination needs to be either accepted in writing in advance of the meeting, or verbally at the meeting itself. For successful candidates, responsibilities begin after the AGM and roles vary from 1- to 2-year terms. Job descriptions are available in the MMHA Constitution, found here.
Open roles for the 2024-2025 season include the following:
Executive roles available:
Treasurer (1-year term)
Secretary (2-year term)
VP Rep Hockey* (2-year term)
Parent Liaison (2-year term)
Director roles available:
Head Trainer/Communications Officer (2-year term)
Sponsorship Director (2-year term)
Director of Tournaments (1-year term)
Director of Initiation Program (2-year term)
Director of Equipment (2-year term)
*for the VP of Rep Hockey position, successful candidates must have served at least one year on the board previously
